Attached is the Physical Form to participate in competitive athletics for the school year 2020-21. You can call Dr. Cortez and get a physical if so choose.  The cost is $20.00.    Make sure to tell the office receptionist you are a Cache Student/Athlete.

I am writing this letter to notify parents that we have had one confirmed positive case Tuesday, July 14. The student was a 9th grader and was involved in the football summer pride program Monday evening. I am not at liberty to name the student but wanted to pass along the following protocols we need to follow to ensure others’ safety. 

1. The student that has tested positive will be quarantined for 14 days and will need to have a dr release to return.

2. If your child was in close contact with the unnamed student (I know, how do we know if they were if we don’t know which student it was) your child will need to self-quarantine for 14 days. Close contact consists of being within 6 feet of the person for 15 minutes or longer. So if they were standing behind the person doing a drill for a few minutes and was never around the student again that would not be considered close contact.

3. If your child was not in close contact with the student then please monitor for symptoms and social distance.

As an additional safety measure Cache Football summer pride will be postponed for a minimum of two weeks to help ensure everyone’s safety. Coach Griffin will notify when summer pride will resume.
